Below you will find all the information to help you complete your booking, PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING.

​WHEN IS THE RIGHT TIME TO HAVE A COLOUR BOOST?

PLEASE READ THIS, IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT

​The best time to have a colour boost is around 18 months when the pigment is at it's lightest. I do not recommend having a colour boost between 7 to 12 months because your skin needs at least a year to fully heal and return to it's normal integrity and if there is still a good amount of pigment left in the skin, we will be over saturating the brow by adding more pigment, this results in blocky brows, regardless of the technique used. 

 

Please note that I DO NOT recommend having a colour boost on hair strokes until the pigment has faded to almost nothing as having a colour boost too soon, even thou they are patchy, will result in the brow being too saturated and you will loose the natural aspect of the brow. I recommend using make up on them for as long as you can before having a colour boost. If you come in too soon I will recommend you have the Ombré Brow instead.

It is possible to change from haistrokes to ombre brow at no extra cost, we can decide what to do during your consultation on the day.

MY AVAILABILITY 

I open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 4pm. My diary opens 4 months in advance and I don't have a cancellation list. All last minute cancellations are advertised via email for clients that are registered in the booking system or via Instagram stories. 

Please note I am unable to open any other days and outside of my working hours.

CONTRAINDICATIONS 

​

If you have any of the following, you may not be able to have your brows done at the moment:​

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Eczema or any other skin conditions

  • Spots or any other skin disorder, even if temporary

  • Use of accutane in the last 12 months

  • As you must be aware, Hairstroke Brows don't heal or last very well on combination or oily skin, large pores, sun damaged skin. If you are now 50 years old or over, I may recommend you have a soft ombre brow instead as this will be likely to settle better in your skin

  • Regular chemical peels

  • Diabetes

  • You may not be able to have the treatment if you are taking new medications, please contact me before booking.

  • Take blood thinners including aspirin, warfarin, coumadin or ibuprofen

  • Botox affects the results and symmetry of your brows. Botox should never be done before, always after. Strong facial muscles will cause asymmetry too.

STUDIO POLICY

​

This is a low maintenance treatment but using a pencil or powder may still be needed. Fading, blurring or poor retention can happen as we are all extremely different individuals. Additional sessions may apply at a cost. 

  • Healed results vary from person to person depending on age, skin type, health, lifestyle and existing natural hair. You must be willing to consider the artist’s advice when it comes to which technique to have for best results.

  • A non refundable booking fee of £20 is required at the time of booking. The booking fee is deducted from the treatment price. 

  • If you come to your appointment with any of the contraindications note above you will be turned away. 

  • No children, friends or family are allowed to attend the appointment.

  • No patch test is needed for returning customers.

 

 

 

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

 

  • I require 48 hours notice to reschedule an appointment, this can be done via the booking system. I know sometimes life gets in the way but any notice shorter than the 48 hours will require a new booking and a new booking fee. Please note that I am always fully booked so you might have to wait at least four months to get back in

  • Booking fees are non refundable

  • If you are late for your appointment I won't be able to see you and a new booking will be required 

  • If you test positive for Covid, please let us know as soon as possible so we can move your appointment and fill your spot
